About The Position

Temp CNC Machine Operator (Temp-to-Hire) | Davenport, IA Stable career with an employee-owned leader in metal tool manufacturing? Pay & Schedule Starting Pay: $16 – $19/hr (Depending on Experience) The Perks: Earn PTO starting on your very first day. Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday schedule (No Weekends!) Available Shifts: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM): Hand Honer and Inspector roles. 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): CNC Machine Operator. 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): CNC Machine Operator. The Role As a CNC Machine Operator, you will utilize modern grinding and machining equipment to produce precision products. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where quality and attention to detail are top priorities.

Requirements

Experience: CNC machining experience is preferred, but we will train candidates who are mechanically inclined and have general machine operating experience.
Reliability: A solid work history with proven longevity on your resume.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Screening: Must pass a national criminal background check for 7 years and drug test.

Responsibilities

Operate & Monitor: Set up and run CNC machines specifically for fluting operations.
Read Blueprints: Interpret mechanical drawings to ensure exact specifications.
Quality Control: Load materials and inspect finished parts for defects or inaccuracies.
Teamwork: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and floor teammates.
