About The Position

This position reports to the production manager and is responsible for operating lines in accordance with work instructions to produce a quality product. You will need to troubleshoot machinery, communicate, and work efficiently with the team in fast-pace environment during a 10 hour day with 2 paid breaks. On a daily basis our Machine Operator: Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products Maintain product weight within item specifications Ensure proper Lot Code dates are correct on package and masters correctly Monitor material in hoppers or reservoir tanks and work in conjunction with the material handler and team lead to ensure hoppers or tanks are adequately stocked. Monitor appearance of the product and make corrections within specifications Perform efficient product changeovers and perform general housekeeping duties

Requirements

• Highschool diploma/GED
• Stooping, lifting, bending, and standing long hours while operating equipment
• Mathematical, organizational, and mechanical skills in production
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Verbal and written skills
• Pass FIT testing and respirator certified
