Machine Operator (Second Shift)

About The Position

Primarily self-directed, completing work orders through each step of the process from set up to completion. Report directly to the Second Shift Supervisor as well as working and interacting with other departments including Shipping/Receiving.
Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11pm

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Windows OS
• Ability to work in a noisy environment
• Ability to work in changing warehouse temperatures and conditions, such as heat and humidity
• Ability to work overtime based on production needs
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time. Typically, 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily routine and keep up with required throughput
• Ability to take direction and feedback from more experienced co-workers and management

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Machine set up and break down
• Safely and efficiently operate assigned machine and complete machine maintenance at required intervals
• QC inspections as per procedures
• Fill out work orders for completed jobs
• Label and box finished parts
• Package product when complete and prepare for shipping
• Maintain, clean, and organize work area
• Other duties as required
