About The Position

The Night Shift I Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring production equipment to manufacture high-quality metal components in alignment with customer specifications and production schedules. This role supports night-shift production goals by maintaining workflow continuity during night shift hours, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards. This position is a hands-on role that works closely with Night I production team and must have strong commitment to safe manufacturing practices.

Requirements

  • Prior experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Maintain production pace to meet or exceed nightly output targets while minimizing scrap and rework.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of assigned parts.

Benefits

  • Shift differential pay hours: for regular full-time employees working night shift, four (4) additional hours per week, at the employee’s standard hourly rate, will be allotted to the employees’ paycheck if the employee has physically worked 36 or more that week (WORK 36 HOURS, PAID FOR 40).
  • Additionally, employees who regularly work either night shift receive shift differential pay of $1.50 per hour for night shift hours.
