About The Position
General Responsibilities and Position Purpose: Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products Assist in the manufacturing and molding of production parts Run and maintain automation equipment Primary Duties: Employee is expected to cross train to assemble a variety of parts while maintaining quality standards Manually execute secondary operations on various components by hand (ex. Trimming, Cleaning) Verify product quality and conformance by utilizing visual inspection methods Notify Manual Team Leader of all material and/or equipment deficiencies Follow all safety rules and practices Properly start up and shut down the Molding Machines Manually operate and troubleshoot minor alarms on the Molding Machines
Requirements
- Fine manipulation required to manually assemble relatively small components
- Repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand and/or sit for up to 3 consecutive hours
- Ability to observe components and final assemblies and identify defects
- Ability to work under a microscope for up to 2 consecutive hours
- Ability to produce, work independently of direct supervision, maintain high production rates and quality control
- Work shoes are required on the floor at all times (need not be steel toe boots)
- Production is located in a Clean Room environment – shoe covers, hairnets, beard nets, and lab coats will need to be worn and provided daily by Mikrotech
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Sorting Parts and Weigh Scale a plus but not necessary
- Previous experience in mold set up, tear down, and cleaning a plus but not necessary
- Basic SPC and Quality Experience preferred but not necessary
