Machine Operator Alliance Printing – Dalton, GA Monday-Friday 3:30pm2:00am Alliance Printing is seeking a skilled and dependable Emmeci Machine Operator to join our team in Dalton, GA. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic, looking to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing operation. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting the Emmeci machine used in the production of turned-edge binders and boards. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality are essential. Ideal for someone who is: Enjoys hands-on mechanical work and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship. Requirements

  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and machine operations.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to interpret and meet production specifications and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate the Emmeci machine to produce turned-edge binders and boards.
  • Select and install the proper tools and fixtures for each production run.
  • Align and secure workpieces and feeding devices for accurate and efficient production.
  • Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality.
  • Use measuring instruments such as gauges and calipers to ensure specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform regular calibration and machine control adjustments (speed, temperature, pressure).
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
