SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS- We will Train Able to operate multiple machines within a work center. Collection and data entry of production tracking into company computers. Adds coolant to reservoirs and lubricates machine parts as needed. Inspect and/or Test completed products. Cleaning/De-burring of product. Operation of forklift. Packaging product. Other machine operations. Maintain and clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Requirements

• Able to read blueprints for product specifications
• Use calipers and other tools
• General machine operation
• General inspection practices
• General quality systems
• Visual inspection
• Comprehend, communicate, follow, and instruct oral and written instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, solve simple equations and calculate percentages
• Ability to convert fractions in increments of 1/16 and convert to decimal number
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Nice To Haves

• Prefer 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for inspecting their product; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
