About The Position
The Machine operator must learn how to operate equipment in the making dept. You will be responsible for correct setup of equipment, monitor green brick size and correct application of brick coatings and body additives. Operator must monitor and record information daily for brick quality.
Requirements
- Must be able to learn safe operation of equipment.
- Must have ability to read and understand mix sheets and computer settings.
- Must have ability to learn procedures for replacing machine parts
- Must be able to maintain production levels
- Must be a good team player
- Must be able to learn safe operation of overhead crane
- Must be able to operate forklift. (license required)
- Must be able to measure brick size and maintain quality standards
- Must have ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work overtime if needed
