Machine Operator
About The Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operating a wide range of machinery equipment Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications Assemble boxes for filling with finished product Seal, label and palletize finished product Ability to work with hand tools Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure a positive work environment to achieve total customer satisfaction Must be reliable and maintain open communication with management to achieve all goals and production requirements Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work areas Utilize equipment to receive and complete product movement requests Follow regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment
Requirements
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to build professional, internal relationships
- Able to follow standard work regulations
- Must be able to work in a hot non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment a plus
- Basic Math Skills
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is required.
- You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a seasonally changing warehouse environment
- Bending, lifting and kneeling
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment a plus
- One year of manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate!
