About The Position

Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition, the Machine Operator will utilize computer software to print and make sure our products are consistent to the customer’s request.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of Printing Operator experience, or 2 years of relevant external experience, highly preferred
Ability to understand and execute verbal and written work instructions
Good hand-eye coordination

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Previous experience working with computers, preferred
Previous experience utilizing information systems, preferred

Responsibilities

Perform equipment setup and preparation tasks
Input data into computer software to initiate printing via Laser, Digital UV, and/or Embroidery machine(s)
Operate automatic or semi-automatic equipment
Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms
Push buttons, turn handles or move controls and levers to start and control printing machines
Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments
Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects
Assemble boxes with tape to ensure packaging is sturdy
For Laser: Ensure to choose the appropriate box according to the product type and the specified quantity of items for each box
Print and place labels on all boxes
Must be able to read and follow written instructions on work orders
Clean and prepare products for packing
Responsible for inspecting own work to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest quality product possible
Maintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work
Reliable, regular attendance is essential
Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies
Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
