About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift. Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business in Meadow Lands, PA is part of the Commercial Products Group. This facility manufactures and assembles products for commercial electrical distribution. The core hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The hourly rate for this position is $19.74 per hour plus $1.00/hr shift differential. The base rate increases after 6 months to $20.78/hour. What you’ll do: This position is responsible for inspecting and assembling commercial electrical products. Employees in this role often work with others in the department and must communicate and work well in a team environment. Entry level position with on-the-job training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• No relocation benefits available for this position. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Meadowlands, PA to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic area limitation.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, including but not limited to welders, presses, benders, and switchboxes in accordance to work instructions.
• Operate machines, monitor the equipment operations, and record operational production data.
• Inspect finished products for quality per standard work instructions.
• Complete production reports to communicate production output to management.
• Maintain housekeeping in work area.
• Perform overhead work on one or more lines.
• Other duties as assigned.
