Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspector: Assure that labels are applied properly Assure that cans have the proper pressure, volume and labeled Help with cleaning and housekeeping of equipment and floor Assists the team in other assignments provided by management. Operations: Makes sure to coordinate the operations flow and feeding process to the machine such as trays, glue, shrink wrap and cans to the tray pack. Housekeeping: Cleaning of machine parts and equipment as needed Sweep/ Vacuum all broken glass on the floor or de-pal equipment Cleaning of drains and floors as needed Maintaining a safe and clean working environment Other assignments per management Stacker: Keeps lines running and full of materials (cartons, sleep sheets, etc.). Assists operators if needed with wraparound cartons Keeps carton conveyor full of trays Keeps can conveyor full of cans Other assignments per management Other Responsibilities Comply with all departmental and company-wide food safety policies & procedures Effective communication with co-workers to assure safety and efficient teamwork Reporting of any non-conformances to department management team as they occur Any other duties as reasonably required by department Management team. Other assignments per management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Accurate record keeping procedures for tasks assigned Thorough understanding of sanitation procedures Thorough understanding of GMP policies and rules per Boombox programs Thorough understanding of human safety requirements for tasks assigned to this position Thorough understanding of environmental impacts of the tasks assigned Physical Requirements Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
