About The Position

Machine Operator | Weaving Salary Range: $19.00 Hours: 5:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Thursday Fridays Off Responsibilities Prepare large industrial machine with proper settings to weave wire in accordance with the required specifications on production orders of wire belts Interpret production orders, engineering drawings Basic understanding of machines to perform periodic quality checks, movement of materials, assembly of chain rods and other chain drive components Prepare daily quality assurance reports per job Operation and assembly of mechanical parts Cross-train in other departments to broaden the skill set and provide coverage Qualifications Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers for exact measurements Written and verbal communication skills for reporting and teamwork Great attention to the smallest details as well as understanding the big picture Initiative and willingness to grow and cross-train in other departments Requirements High school diploma or GED, Vo-Tech or other manufacturing education helpful 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk most of the time and sit occasionally, read printed materials, operate machines where the job is at or within arm’s reach. Hearing and speech are required to communicate with internal customers in person Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus and possess a normal extended reach using consistent manual dexterity The employee will exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee will be subject to inside environmental conditions where they are protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment. Requirements
