Machine Operator - 12 hr. shift (7:00am to 7:30pm)

About The Position

Entry Level Technicians/ Machine Operators are hired as members of a high-performance work team. Technician are capable of operating several operational systems (several pieces of equipment) that are part of an entire manufacturing, process or warehousing system.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Strong technical, interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
2 or more years machine operating experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.
Basics computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

Forklift Exp. Preferred

Responsibilities

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage’s policies and procedures.
Capable of performing routine operations with minimum supervision.
Responsible for operating production lines, keeping production flowing and meeting performance goals.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of quality that consumers expect from our products. Visually checks to assure that we are at quality code consistently.
Responsible for operating basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment. Make minor equipment adjustments and changeovers or setups.
Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations, demonstrate ownership, confront business-related problems and continuously improve the equipment and processes.
Performs basic cleaning, inspection and lubrication of the equipment they operate.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
