About The Position

To support the manufacturing process by moving raw materials to set locations using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and powered industrial equipment

Requirements

  • Must be a friendly team player, detail-oriented, and honest
  • Must have the ability to: Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
  • Operate powered industrial trucks, including a vertical lift at heights up to 30 feet
  • Use an RF Scanner
  • Read and interpret production paperwork (i.e. logs, daily workload reports)
  • Work at docks and in trailers with varied temperature ranges
  • Be cross trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s)
  • Use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations
  • Stand/walk/bend/kneel throughout the day
  • Lift/Push/Pull 50 lbs.
  • Must have: Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 6 months of powered industrial truck operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of powered industrial truck operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience with RF scanners properly and accurately documenting materials or products preferred
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate a powered industrial truck to perform duties such as loading and unloading raw material to and from containers, storage racks, and set locations, and delivering materials to designated locations in the facility
  • Use RF scanner to document material movement in and out of set locations to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Accurately load transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
  • Receive shipments and verify packages according to order, invoices, or packing slips
  • Notify Supervisor or member of management of any parts defects, errors in quantity, or quality of materials being received or picked from a location
  • Assist with physical material inventory and cycle counts
  • Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and management
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
