About The Position

Job Details: Benefits Effective on Day 1! Functions: To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture. Receive training as required. Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned. Tasks: Ensure logs are the correct weight and length at start of each product. Strip out product that has been determined to be unacceptable based on weight, length, damaged, etc. When stripping logs, must account for all casing and clips. Perform hourly metal detector check and enter into Safety Chain. Clean the machine for meat changeovers or whenever necessary. At the end of shift, break down equipment to allow for proper cleaning. Enter all required information into the Safety Chain/Plant View QA System. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor. Clean and sanitize, walls, ceilings, framework, and processing equipment throughout the plant, by foaming, scrubbing and rinsing. Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to move up to 61.5 pounds. The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold. The Team Member will work where the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
