About The Position

The Box Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining the proper operation of box machines during production. This role ensures all machines run efficiently within company standards, that each line has the correct product boxes with accurate information, and that the work area remains organized and clean. The operator must promptly notify the lead or supervisor of any issues and ensure all pallets are placed in their designated locations at the end of the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Must be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boxes for quality before use
• Load boxes into the machine
• Assign and supply the correct boxes to each production line
• Monitor machine performance and address issues as needed
• Troubleshoot and solve minor equipment or process problems
• Maintain accurate inventory of box pallets on the production floor
• Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift
• Open unsealed or defective boxes and place them in the compactor
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
