About The Position

OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a Machine Operator II to operate machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components either as a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools Operates lift equipment as needed Uses precision measuring tools as required Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets

Requirements

Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis
Produce the required quantity of product according to required output specifications
Understand the machine operation process and the movement of completed components
Use computers as required
Use measuring tools as required
Read and understand Blueprints
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely
Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision
Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations’ success
Handle fast-paced work
Demonstrate the ability to take initiative to see tasks that are needed and complete them without being instructed to do so by supervisors or lead personnel
Demonstrate dependability with good attendance
High school Diploma

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience required in lieu of degree/certification
