Job Title: Machine Operator II Reporting To: Supervisor, Process Work Schedule: Onsite – Orrville, OH Our Team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Machine Operator II to Join them. You will report to the Machining Operations Manager and have an onsite, 1st shift schedule in Orrville, Ohio.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, band saws, overhead cranes, and tow motors.
• Acquire some basic knowledge of inspection equipment and Moog processes/procedures.
• Expected to train and learn the basics of shop math and machine operation.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of work, through inspection and meeting schedule requirements.
• Recognize an abnormal condition and be able to stop the work and get help promptly, including troubleshooting and correction of problems.
• Expected to train and learn basic Moog operating systems.
• Follow ethics compliance program.
