JOB SUMMARY: The Machine Operator II performs intermediate-level machining tasks with minimal supervision. This role involves programming and setting up CNC machines, interpreting complex drawings, and collaborating across departments.
Requirements
- 3-10 years of experience.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced understanding of materials.
- Own appropriate tools.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and height gauges.
- Set up tools and perform CNC setups.
- Use Windows-based software (Excel, email, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC machines.
- Interpret complicated engineering drawings.
- Interface with other departments to complete tasks.
- Perform self-inspection and maintain quality standards.
- Apply safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
