About The Position

This is a full-time Machine Operator I position within a food manufacturing environment, offering opportunities for advancement. The role involves critical tasks such as setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure smooth production startup, controlling various production parameters like line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates, and ensuring overall product appearance and safety. The operator is also responsible for completing various quality checks and all required paperwork, including documentation for downtime and HACCP, utilizing systems like SAP and adhering to SOPs and safety operations. The company is known for popular retail brands including Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® pizza, Mrs. Smith's® and Edwards® desserts, and bibigo® and Pagoda® Asian-style snacks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Flexible working overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED with 0--1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product appearance and safety.
• Completing various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety operation, training, as appropriate).
