About The Position

FilterEasy is private-equity backed by Great Hill Partners. The Machine Operator operates production machinery following established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately and efficiently. May need a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager and works under the close direction of senior personnel. Has a moderate understanding of the job and may require 0-1 year of general work experience.

• Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly, pleating, or bandsaw machinery in adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
• Prepare raw materials or sub-assemblies for the operation of the equipment
• Execute work orders according to the production schedule
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain clean throughout the shift
• Swiftly move materials between workstations using pallet jacks or carts
• Skillfully operate light machinery for cutting, assembling, or packing
• Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively
