About The Position

The Machine Operator position is responsible for all job tasks relate to the
operation of a plate roller. The role includes loading and unloading materials
from workstations using a forklift and preparing packing slips for outgoing
shipments. Additional responsibilities may include packaging and banding
products, running the packaging line, assembling pallets, and using a nail gun.
This position frequently requires moving materials throughout the warehouse
using both a forklift and an overhead crane.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with plate roller operations is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs is preferred.
