ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Listen to directions from supervisor or lead man, however, will work almost all the time without direct supervision Determine if all parts are present. Read and interpret blueprints and sketches. Read parts list. Interpret measurements. Verify specifications. 1st article inspection Ensure working environment is clean and safe. Report errors in product line. Prioritizing work based on production schedule Communicate effectively/appropriately with team members, leads and supervisors. Effectively and accurately use VMI, Kanban cards, material withdrawal forms, stock, fabricated, and special order parts so inventory counts are correct Maintain regular attendance to prevent missing customer deadlines Adhere to Marion Body Works Inc. Quality Policy SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Interpret MBW safety policies/practices to employees including ensuring safe work practices and company policies are followed. Utilize available data to continuously improve productivity, uptime and reliability Interface with customers, both internal and external. Complete Non-conformance using quality program for quality issues and deviations, and all purchasing, order processing, and engineering inaccuracies so corrective action can be taken May be required to transfer to other work area to meet company needs Compliance with all environmental, OSHA and quality standards Other tasks as assigned.
