Machine Operator 3 - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Mrs. Gerry’s was founded in 1973 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Gerry’s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast. We are looking for great team members who desire a friendly work environment and want to learn how we create delicious fresh potato salad, warm mashed potatoes, cold pasta salads, zesty dips and more. Our products enable families and friends to celebrate around the dinner or picnic table every day. The Mashed Potato Line Operator is responsible for the operations of mixing and packaging of sides products. During which times sides lines are not in operation, this person will perform various other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
- Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
- Learn all aspects of processing including set up and operations of all equipment and processes.
- Learn all aspects of the clean room including set-up, operation, CIP’S, tear down and procedures.
- Learn to operate and monitor spiral chiller.
- Learn all aspects of packaging including equipment operation and procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- All other duties as assigned.
