Job Description We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Machine Operator 2. This is a 2nd Shift role (M-F, 2:00PM – 10:00PM), in the EA department with a starting rate of $19.35 per hour with a 6% shift premium. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work onsite in Mequon, WI. You will operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Work required overtime, which may be up to 20 hours per week depending on production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Through‑Hole Placement Technologies and electronically controlled processes, components, and full PCB layouts for final product creation.
  • Operate and work with production machinery, including solder selection, wave solder, and conformal coat processes.
  • Set up and run multiple machines and workstations simultaneously.
  • Be a Through‑Hole Machine Operator by picking parts, setting up jobs per pick list, and running the production line.
  • Perform first‑line inspection of boards to ensure build quality.
  • Collaborate with technicians and team leads to troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate downtime.
  • Safely lift 35–45 pounds.
  • Prepare reels and feeders for through‑hole technology machines.
  • Counts and moves materials to the production line.
  • Burns firmware into electronic components using programming machines.
  • Create and apply PCB labels manually or through automated systems.
  • Perform machine setups and adjustments while maintaining tolerances to print specifications.
  • Conduct visual classification and repair of rejected boards.
