This is an Alternate Work Week Day Shift position: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 600am - 630pm What You Will Learn: Machine Operator 1 - Ability to operate a variety of production machines. This position will require performing routine operations. Working on the production line you will produce blades and or vanes as well as perform all quality checks. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. Requirements

High School Diploma / GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification

Nice To Haves

2 or more years Machine Operator or Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

Operator will train on the job to become proficient and certified in performing the operations in a portion of a standard work loop required in coatings, grinding, hole drilling, or finishing of turbine airfoils.
Operator will follow work instructions provided.
Operator will demonstrate understanding of quality and production.
Demonstrate broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods and techniques. Has knowledge of cutting qualities of metal, machining, fabrication and tooling. Works from drawings and sketches and uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Work from drawings and operation sheets and use decimals and fractions and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Requires knowledge of machining methods.
