Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? This is an AWW2 Shift position: Friday - Sunday 6:00PAM to 6:30 AM What You Will Do: Operate a variety of production machines. This position will require performing routine operations. Working on the production line you will produce blades and or vanes as well as perform all quality checks. These positions require shift work and ability to work overtime when needed. Operator will train on the job to become proficient and certified in performing the operations in a portion of a standard work loop required in coatings, grinding, hole drilling, or finishing of turbine airfoils. Operator will follow work instructions provided. Operator will demonstrate understanding of quality and production. Demonstrate broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods and techniques. Has knowledge of cutting qualities of metal, machining, fabrication and tooling. Works from drawings and sketches and uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments. Work from drawings and operation sheets and use decimals and fractions and a variety of precision measuring instruments. Requires knowledge of machining methods.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years Machine Operator or Manufacturing Experience
