About The Position

This is a full-time hourly position that works primarily during night shift (Mon-Thu 4pm-3am) but may be required to adjust working hours as needed to adequately lead the team and meet production demands. Manufacturing Support team member Essential Job Functions: In this role, you will be a part of a dynamic team in all aspects of manufacturing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. As a team member, you will be a part of daily production activities assigned by your team lead. Through the practice of utilizing a daily management system, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback towards process improvements and lean initiatives. Manufacture complex gun components utilizing 2x Lathes with live tooling and special process equipment Ensure the process operates in accordance with defined standards Follow set production schedule, and report any problems to the Team Lead In-process inspection utilizing Mics, Calipers, Indicators, Mahr systems, Air Gauges Maintain quality system by following ISO standard practices Tool Change/ Tool setting in accordance to set procedures Tool wear offsets to ensure the highest quality of parts Deburring parts as needed, provide feedback when applicable Operate multiple machines, as needed Housekeeping Other Job Functions: Assist with improvement -related projects, questions, and solving problems as needed. Participate in department responses to corrective actions, and preventative actions Perform routine safety, quality, and work skills training. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to not be a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment

  • Must have physical ability to walk between buildings as necessary.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
  • Standing for extended periods and moving around the production floor frequently.
