About The Position

This position will be responsible for all set up and operation of machines in designated department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Knowledge of design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to follow detailed instructions including reading a tape measure, and blueprints.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Team-oriented and self-directed.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure proper cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags for production runs.
• Set-up bundle, hold down arm, load former, and delivery end of machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Stack finished product in accordance with factory master.
• Ensure each unit has proper top and bottom cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags.
• Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
• Monitor quality and report quality problems to Operator.
• Ensure correct bundle and unit counts.
• Report final count of piece unit to operator.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines.
• Special projects as business dictate.
• Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.
