About The Position

This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning of industrial machines and equipment, as well as maintaining general cleanliness throughout the building. The cleaner works closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure that machines are cleaned in accordance with company procedures and production schedules, without compromising safety or operations. The Machine and Facility Cleaner helps ensure the facility complies with all internal cleanliness standards and external health, safety, and environmental regulations. DESCRIPTION Clean and wipe down machines, equipment, and tools according to cleaning schedules and safety procedures. Remove dust, oil, grease, ink, or product residues from machines surfaces. Assist with deep cleaning during plant shutdowns or preventive maintenance activities. Clean walls, windows, doors, and overhead structures as assigned. Empty trash bins and disposal of waste materials following company procedures. Assist with special projects such as event cleanup, reorganizing spaces, or emergency spill response. Identifying and reporting potential issues such as leaks, damaged parts, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel to help prevent accidents or equipment failure.

Requirements

• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, or humid environments depending on facility conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is a plus.
