Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Assemble machined and/or purchased components to build automotive diagnostic machines used to diagnose vehicle systems such as brakes. Perform mechanical assembly Wire junction boxes Read and interpret blueprints and schematics Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements Safely operate a drill press, small mill, band saw, forklift, and overhead crane Utilize power tools and assist with welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging as needed

Requirements

2+ years of machine building experience
Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging

Responsibilities

Assemble machined and/or purchased components to build automotive diagnostic machines used to diagnose vehicle systems such as brakes.
Perform mechanical assembly
Wire junction boxes
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements
Safely operate a drill press, small mill, band saw, forklift, and overhead crane
