About The Position

A Machine Builder is responsible for assembling customer equipment using blueprints and a range of hand tools. You'll work with fluid power pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, valves, and controls. Must haves: 3-5 years of related mechanical assembly experience with extensive electrical background; skills may be based on previous automotive repair or maintenance positions Valid driver's license and willing to travel about 25% of the time. Strong collaboration skills to work as a team. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality. Additional skills and knowledge include: ability to wire industrial electrical panels; ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment; ability to read a print; ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment; advanced math and precision measuring skills; strong mechanical aptitude; must have analytical, technical and demonstrated problem-solving skills To be successful at Tri-Mation you need to have demonstrated skills as an active team player to support, accept responsibility and collaborate with the team; effective skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and building relationships; and use of independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.
