Machine Builder Supervisor
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Supervisor/Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling various components and structures according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. A commitment to quality and safety is essential in this position. Duties: Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automated processes. Utilize CNC machinery for precise cutting and shaping of materials. Perform welding tasks to join metal components securely. Conduct electrical wiring tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain industrial equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments effectively. Engage in assembly and fabrication processes for various products. Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the facility. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Machining Skills: Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation. Strong welding skills with knowledge of different welding techniques. Electrical experience including wiring and troubleshooting electrical systems. Solid mechanical knowledge applicable to machinery and equipment maintenance.
