Machine Adjuster or Trainee Machine Adjuster
About The Position
Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Dallas, TX manufacturing plant. Experienced Machine Adjuster $23/hr or higher depending on experience + $1.50/hr 3rd shift premium 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required Flexibility to train on any shift 1st shift 6:30am -- 2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:30pm -- 10:30pm / 3rd shift 10:30pm -- 6:30am Trainee Machine Adjuster $21/hr or higher depending on relevant experience + + $1.50/hr 3rd shift premium 4+ years of advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair complex production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, troubleshoot, etc. Flexibility to train on any shift 1st shift 6:30am -- 2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:30pm -- 10:30pm / 3rd shift 10:30pm -- 6:30am The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role. Important Notes: Flexibility to train on any shift is required. 1st shift 6am -- 2pm; 2nd shift 2pm -- 10pm; 3rd shift 10pm -- 6am 2nd shift premium $1.25/hr / 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills. Flexibility required with machine assignment. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. Mental alertness at all times. Cenveo is an EEO Employer
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required
- Flexibility to train on any shift
- 4+ years of advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair complex production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, troubleshoot, etc.
- Flexibility to train on any shift
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility required with machine assignment
