This position for a MAC (Move, Add, Change) Technician is responsible for executing work orders and moves related to furniture and similar equipment. The tasks include, but are not limited to the following: Delivering/retrieving furniture Moving furniture Repairing furniture Reconfiguring workstations Performing furniture/occupancy surveys Relocating employee belongings/crates to new work areas Setting furniture in work areas to standard Basic equipment and facility repairs Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves. hooks, or closet rods

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of computers/smartphones
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and interact with customers in a corporate setting
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Knowledgeable or experienced with hand and power tools, dollies and other moving equipment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in a corporate office environment
  • Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs
  • Must be able to walk up to 8 hours a day
  • Onsite daily Monday-Friday, 1st shift

  • Experience with office furniture systems preferred, but not necessary
