Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification
  • Must possess Top Secret/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Oversee activations/deactivations, installations, relocations, and upgrades of equipment, including all active and passive work.
  • Ensure adherence to defined MACs, including simple moves of hardware, ports, and/or office setups.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical expertise in communications distribution design for MAC projects.
  • Review and approve design proposals, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive design documentation for MAC activities, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and customer specifications in all design deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions throughout the MAC lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough design reviews to identify potential risks, conflicts, or inefficiencies.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to validate the integrity and functionality of communication infrastructure designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address design feedback and incorporate necessary revisions.
  • Develop project plans and timelines for MAC initiatives, considering design requirements, resource availability, and customer deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of MAC projects.
