About The Position

The Microsoft 365 Administrator will support and maintain the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID. This role focuses on day‑to‑day administration, user support, basic troubleshooting, and assisting with configuration and documentation. The ideal candidate is eager to grow, comfortable collaborating with internal teams and our managed services provider, and ready to take on increasing responsibility as they develop. This position is well‑suited for someone with a solid technical foundation who is looking to expand their skills in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and workflow automation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Microsoft 365 Administrator, IT Support, or System Administrator role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID).
  • Familiarity with Intune or other endpoint management tools.
  • Basic understanding of security best practices and compliance concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience providing desktop support and working with end-users.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills with a strong follow‑through mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to PowerShell, Power Automate, or other automation tools is a plus (not required).
  • Experience with MSPs, ShareGate, or RMM tools is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Assist with configuring security policies, conditional access, and compliance settings.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and user access issues.
  • Support Intune device management and basic policy administration.
  • Assist with licensing, user provisioning, and group management.
  • Help maintain SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, and permissions.
  • Support workflow automation and process improvements using Power Automate (training provided as needed).
  • Provide end‑user training and documentation for Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Provide Tier 1/2 support for end‑users and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist with desktop support, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with our third-party managed services provider to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Support onboarding tasks for new hires and offshore contractors.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including knowledge base articles and system configurations.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as skills develop.
