The Opportunity: The MOT Operations Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training to technicians and fellow trainers on customer service practices and daily operations within a technician's role. They evaluate technician performance based on extensive knowledge of LG products and systems. The trainer develops training programs aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction (NPS) and supports trainers with necessary information to facilitate training. They collaborate with field service operations to determine suitable training venues and analyze training activities to improve effectiveness. Additionally, the trainer assists in organizing training events at conventions and maintains communication with various departments within LG.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Strong understanding of LG products and service operations
  • Minimum of 2 years of training experience, preferably in a technical environment
  • Experience in learning material development
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong capability of utilizing Excel functions for data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel to LG facilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire training focused on Moment of Truth (MOT) & internal systems
  • Review, develop, and enhance existing learning materials to drive improved training facilitation & knowledge transfer
  • Create online training content for field technicians using new & existing LG resources (i.e., GLMS, DB Portal, etc)
  • Leverage industry training best practices to elevate facilitation skill across all training locations
  • Monitor and evaluate training activities, reporting on outcomes
  • Analyze performance results and partner with key stakeholders to determine specific training needs
  • Coordinate nationwide training schedules to include procurement of facilities & equipment
