Requirements
- Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
- Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
- LVN license
- BLS certification
- Food Handlers' certification
Responsibilities
- Oversee resident documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping, including service plans, physician orders, and incident reports.
- Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising staff (LVNs, Med Techs, caregivers, etc.) to ensure proper care and compliance with regulations.
- Manage medication administration and treatment processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and DSS regulations.
- Respond to emergency calls and assess resident conditions, notifying the appropriate parties of any changes in care needs.
- Assist with the admission and re-admission processes for residents, including setting up medical records and coordinating necessary services.
- Monitor and support quality assurance efforts, including incident reporting, wound care, and the implementation of infection control procedures.
- Maintain communication with families, physicians, and staff regarding resident care, ensuring updates are provided as needed.
