Requirements

Current California LVN license
Current CPR and First Aid certification
2 years nursing experience (assisted living, memory care, or SNF preferred)
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Knowledge of gerontology, dementia care, and resident rights
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies

Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight and clear direction to caregiving staff
Assess residents, document changes, and communicate with physicians and families
Perform diabetic care, medication tasks, and follow physician orders
Coordinate medical appointments and support proactive health management
Partner with Home Health/Hospice teams to ensure comfort and continuity of care
Train, coach, and support caregiving staff
Uphold infection control and regulatory standards (Title 22)
