As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team. Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience. Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in Long Term Care and/or Subacute required.
  • Valid California IV Certification through the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) or to be obtained within 90 days of employment and will be contingent on continued employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vital direct patient care.
  • Assess patient conditions.
  • Administer medications.
  • Perform prescribed treatments.
  • Meticulously document care.
  • Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans.
  • Assure that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
  • Provide for physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patient/family.
  • Provide for the education of the patient/family.
  • Assist Registered Nurse in the Development, implementation and evaluation of the nursing plan of care for the patient/family.
  • Incorporate the plan for nursing care into the multidisciplinary care and management of the patient/family.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely and competently administer medications, intravenous therapy and basic fluid management.
