LVN (PRN)- Cornerstone
About The Position
Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health. We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s to: direct and coordinate activities of CNAs perform basic daily nursing functions issue proper medications meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.
Nice To Haves
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
