About The Position

Workers will perform a combination of the following duties to maintain grounds/turf of golf course in playing condition: grade new turf area; apply lime or fertilizer; mow rough and fairway areas; cut turf; assist with sprinkler head system, lay sod, dig and rake ground; grade and clean traps; repair roadbeds; plant and trim trees and shrubs; use hand tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, weed-eaters, backpack blowers, golf maintenance carts, rakes and shovels).

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs frequently
  • 3 months minimum experience required
  • No education required; 1 month of golf course or landscape maintenanceexperience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, lifting, andstanding for extended periods.
  • Full-time; 40 hours per week; may include weekends and holidays.
  • Starting rate of $21.50 per hour
