About The Position

Your Job: In this fast-paced outpatient gastroenterology clinic, the Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to adult patients under the supervision of a Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider, in accordance with Methodist Health System standards of practice. The LVN supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered gastroenterology care, including preparation and coordination of patients undergoing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient specialty procedural clinic required
Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
Current CPR/BLS certification
Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with patients, providers, and team members
Foster a collaborative clinic environment focused on patient safety and experience
Maintain accountability for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of care
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and engagement in clinic operations
Support continuous improvement in workflows and patient care
