About The Position

Your Job: In this fast-paced outpatient gastroenterology clinic, the Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to adult patients under the supervision of a Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider, in accordance with Methodist Health System standards of practice. The LVN supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered gastroenterology care, including preparation and coordination of patients undergoing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient specialty procedural clinic required
  • Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with patients, providers, and team members
  • Foster a collaborative clinic environment focused on patient safety and experience
  • Maintain accountability for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of care
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and engagement in clinic operations
  • Support continuous improvement in workflows and patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Gastroenterology clinic experience preferred
