Weekend and holiday requirements Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · 38 bed Acute Medical unit improves the quality of care for the medical patient. Patients are admitted to this floor for multiple acute chronic diseases such as TB, GI, Pneumonia, Dialysis, Ortho as well as trachs, isolations and cardiac overflow. All beds can be tele monitored · We are a General Medicine Residency unit which has Medicine Interns and second and third year Physicians on the unit 24/7. · No Lift Environment – unit has been recognized for not having employee injuries for over 10 years.
