About The Position
Partners Personnel is currently seeking a Lumper for our client in Whitestown, IN. Qualified candidates who have the following experience, are strongly encouraged to apply. The Lumper will manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility. They will be loading trailers so they will be handling boxes and what not all day long.
Responsibilities
- Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in
- Pattern load in system
- Secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.)
- Unhook trailer once loading is complete
- Inflate air bags as needed
- Locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed
- Performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
