Lumber Grader- Day Shift
About The Position
Quanex is looking for Lumber Grader - Day Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud , Minnesota . In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and grading lumber in accordance with NHLA sales codes. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm. We Offer You! Requirements
- High School or equivalent education required
- 9+ months lumber grading experience within a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Must have knowledge of hardwood lumber grades
- Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
Responsibilities
- Monitors product continuously to ensure quality standards are met
- Grades lumber manually by inspecting each board and documenting quality and quantity
- Inspect boards and accurately enters results into a computer
- Completes grading reports through computers and analyzed differences between company grading results and supplier invoices
