About The Position

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our service team. The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Perform oil and filter changes on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. Inspect and top off all vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake, transmission, power steering, and windshield washer fluids. Conduct tire rotations, balance tires, and check tire pressure, advising on tire condition and wear. Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or maintenance needs, reporting findings to service advisors or technicians. Communicate with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for additional maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of service bays, tools, and equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions. Assist other service technicians and team members as needed to support efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Basic mechanical skills and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing maintenance tasks and inspections.
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment, with the ability to learn new technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role is preferred.
Completion of a technical or automotive training program is a plus
